We had the most amazing support and kindness throughout our time using Liam Stafford for our dad’s funeral. Liam and his staff could not have been more supportive guiding us through new territory in planning a funeral. They showed kindness and compassion throughout and were always available to answer any queries or worries.

The flowers and the order of service could not have been more perfect and the support at the crematorium was wonderful.

When our dad/grandad passed suddenly Liam and his fantastic team were outstanding.
At a time where you feel lost and broken, the whole team were there whenever we needed them , and they always made us feel heard. You never expect to do this so soon so, having an attentive and well organised team to help you through each step of the process helps it in ways you cannot even explain. They went above and beyond for us and any requests or questions we had they always listened and made everything happen for us! I never thought I would be able to cope with all the arrangements for his funeral.  Liam and his team took the stress away from me and my family. From the moment I first met Liam,   he had already arranged to go to the hospital and bring Damien back home to Newport,  this instantly gave me great comfort.  It was a really difficult time of my life,  but going to see Liam and his team at their office really helped with the hard times.  I was so glad they were looking after my husband,  and when we went to visit Damien,  they always played his favourite Bruce Springsteen tunes which was such a personal touch at the Chapel of rest.   When my daughters went to visit their dad at the chapel of rest,  Liam always looked after them and really helped with their grieve, giving them great words of wisdom.  Even now after the funeral,   we still pop in to chat with Liam and his team and they welcome us with open arms. Liam,  you and your team are just so amazing and your families should be proud of you all.

From our very first meeting, Liam was incredibly kind, compassionate and supportive.

We wanted something a little more personal and unique to reflect Dad’s life and personality, and Liam fully embraced our ideas from the start. Nothing felt too much trouble, and he helped us create a service that truly felt like Trevor. His guidance, patience and encouragement gave us the confidence to make choices that felt right for our family.

Made us feel at ease...

Liam Stafford Funeral Directors were absolutely amazing from the moment we got in touch and still continuing to be amazing. Liam made us feel at ease and went above and beyond for us, he engraved the Leeds united flag into the casket for us for free and also made a lovely wooden engraved heart for my mom to keep. Liam has made a very tough time that little bit more bearable. We will forever be grateful for what you have done for us.

As a Woodseaves family, we could not be more thankful to have had Liam as our funeral director. Liam was recommended by a paramedic. Liam is a consummate professional in his field and was open, honest and clear in all his communication with us a family. Liam dealt with us sensitivity, compassion and with respect. He had to deliver some difficult messages to us as a family but did this with care and kindness. Liam was readily available for contact at all points throughout the preparation for the funeral. I would highly recommend Liam and his colleagues to care for loved ones who you have recently lost.

Having never stepped foot in a Woodseaves funeral directors before, I had no idea what I was doing or what the processes were. After my dad passed, my husband and I decided to pay Liam Stafford a visit. Upon entering, there was this instant sense of calm and comfort. Liam greeted us with handshakes and a comforting smile and although the majority of the initial conversation is a bit of a blur, we distinctly remember us agreeing without doubt we would go with him to arrange the service for my Dad. We knew we'd be in safe hands. From then on, Liam was just incredible. Hard to describe, but he had the absolute right measure of compassion and humour.

Went above and beyond..

We have recently lost a Woodseaves loved one and from first contacting Liam and his team they were very professional, respectful and compassionate, they went above and beyond and nothing was to much trouble including special touches like a Liverbird engraved on the coffin, taking care of everything and the day of the funeral could not have gone more perfect and that was down to Liam and his team we cannot thank them enough and we would highly reccomend them
