When our dad/grandad passed suddenly Liam and his fantastic team were outstanding.
At a time where you feel lost and broken, the whole team were there whenever we needed them , and they always made us feel heard. You never expect to do this so soon so, having an attentive and well organised team to help you through each step of the process helps it in ways you cannot even explain. They went above and beyond for us and any requests or questions we had they always listened and made everything happen for us! We will always have a special place in our heart for them all🤍 thanks for everything you did and continue to do for us!

When my husband suddenly passed away at the age of 62,  I was heartbroken.  I never thought I would be able to cope with all the arrangements for his funeral.  Liam and his team took the stress away from me and my family. From the moment I first met Liam,   he had already arranged to go to the hospital and bring Damien back home to Newport,  this instantly gave me great comfort.  It was a really difficult time of my life,  but going to see Liam and his team at their office really helped with the hard times.  I was so glad they were looking after my husband,  and when we went to visit Damien,  they always played his favourite Bruce Springsteen tunes which was such a personal touch at the Chapel of rest.   When my daughters went to visit their dad at the chapel of rest,  Liam always looked after them and really helped with their grieve, giving them great words of wisdom.  Even now after the funeral,   we still pop in to chat with Liam and his team and they welcome us with open arms. Liam,  you and your team are just so amazing and your families should be proud of you all.

Liam Stafford Funeral Directors and all the staff were more than we could ever have hoped for. They were professional, kind and compassionate throughout, and treated us with such genuine care and empathy.

It’s hard to put into words how much their support meant to our family during such a difficult time. They helped make the service truly special, and everything was handled with so much thought and respect. We will always be grateful for the kindness they showed us. At a time when a family will need every bit of support Liam and his team were truly wonderful. Totally professional and thoughtful, but also able to be a friend helping you along the way. First class service from initial meeting right through to the service. All of the staff including Liam, other office staff and the drivers were professional and displayed the perfect amount of compassion and empathy without being in any way intrusive. Following the loss of my father, Trevor, we found ourselves in the position of arranging a funeral for the first time and had no idea where to begin. From our very first meeting, Liam was incredibly kind, compassionate and supportive.

We wanted something a little more personal and unique to reflect Dad’s life and personality, and Liam fully embraced our ideas from the start. Nothing felt too much trouble, and he helped us create a service that truly felt like Trevor. His guidance, patience and encouragement gave us the confidence to make choices that felt right for our family.

Throughout the entire process, Liam was always there to answer questions, offer advice and provide reassurance when we needed it most. What could have been an overwhelming experience felt much easier because of his support.

By the end of it all, Liam no longer felt like just our funeral director – he felt like a friend. We will always be grateful for the care, dignity and kindness he showed both Trevor and our family during such a difficult time.

Everyone will know that the death of a loved one can be very stressful. From my first contact with Liam I found him to be an extremely calming and reassuring person which is just what you need in that situation.
The whole process was dealt with in that manner culminating in a lovely send off for Mum.

I recently lost my wife, way before I should have and I was not prepared in any way. Searching for a Funeral Directors had never been a conversation we had and so I was left with the huge task of trying to find someone who would do her proud.

After a few conversations and looking around a little it quickly became apparent that Liam Staffords was by far the best for my family's needs.

After just the initial phone call, I already felt more at ease, Liam (and his team) were immensely helpful, explained everything fully and informed me about government assistance that may be available. The entire process for me boiled down to telling Liam what I wanted and letting him and his team do everything, no stress and no additional time required.

The service was also impeccable. We are not religious and Liam was able to accommodate that and we had Anna-Marie as our celebrant I we could not be happier.

On what was ostensibly the worst day of my life, Liam and his team made it that much easier, the flowers they arranged were beautiful, the order of service was nicely laid out and beautifully presented and it all came together perfectly.

I know a review is not normally a place to thank people, but I have never been accused of being normal.  To Liam, Anna-Marie and the team, Thank you. Thank you for making the process so simple. Thank you for your compassion and making us feel so well looked after. Thank you for looking after Claire and ensuring her wishes were observed in such a beautiful way, and thank you for you continued support even now. The most wonderful caring trusted people to look after you and your loved one they are just amazing every single one of them service was just perfect they did everything for me and the flowers what ever was asked and more I live away and they where always in contact with me letting me know what has been happening and what ever I needed to know  was never a problem and all so very kind in every way they made me feel like I was there family and looked after my uncle like he was there family to if you want a family to look after you and your loved one in a very difficult time please go and see Liam and all his staff they are amazing and funeral is all over but they are still in contact with me saying they are still there for me thank you so much for every thing you are all amazing everything is done in house and there chapel of rest to they have staff to do the service to everything is all In one place . I can’t thank them all enough thanks Ann Price xxx
